As one of the leading causes of global mortality, chronic respiratory diseases and particularly COPD and Asthma demand more than clinical attention - they require committed political action.
Join us in building momentum for CRDs to be recognized in the upcoming UN General Assembly political declaration at our side-event to WHA in Geneva on May 21st.
The WHO Director-General Special Envoy for Chronic Respiratory Diseases, José Luis Castro, will present WHO’s strategic priorities for tackling CRDs as a part of our effort to improve respiratory health and prevent COPD and Asthma.
We are pleased to invite you to join us as an audience member at this high-level event. It will take place on May 21st from 07-08:30 PM at the Hilton Hotel in Geneva.
The presentation will be followed by a high-level discussion on what the future of respiratory health will look like and how policy makers can prepare, featuring:
👋 Dr. Ricardo Baptista Leite, CEO at Health AI
👋 Siân Williams, CEO of the International Primary Care Respiratory Group
👋 Dr Anders Løkke Ottesen, Professor and Chief Physician at Lillebælt Hospital
