Futures thinking is a vital skill for every student, teacher, and lifelong learner. Futures literacy is no longer optional — it is essential for navigating an accelerating, complex world.
We see education as more than knowledge transfer. We work to transform education—building education fit for the future, as preparation for the future, and about the many possible futures ahead. Through futures education, we build the capacity not only to adapt to change, but to shape it deliberately, ethically, and imaginatively. We design workshops, develop curricula, learning journeys, and training programs that make futures thinking accessible across educational levels and disciplines. Our work empowers educators to integrate futures literacy and foresight into classrooms and learning spaces — inviting students to explore alternative futures, challenge assumptions, and understand the forces shaping the world. The Institute serves as the Danish hub for the global movement Teach the Future, promoting futures literacy as a core element - from primary schools to universities. We aim to nurture a new generation of thinkers who are not just prepared for change, but ready to lead it. Because building a better future starts with how we teach today.
