The Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies (CIFS) - in our capacity of housing the Danish hub of Teach the Future - are excited to present Aeon & Metronix - A Futures Tale! The cartoon aims to introduce children and young people to futures thinking in an engaging and entertaining way.

It is imperative that we cultivate the skills in young people that they need in order to thrive in an everchanging world. We are all constantly exposed to big changes that will affect our life in the future, but few of us have the necessary skills to view those changes constructively and action-oriented. Our hope is that this cartoon can introduce children and young people to thinking about the future and what it holds.

The cartoon is part of an initiative that developed Danish teaching materials connected to the Danish version of the cartoon. Teach the Future Denmark's aim is to spread the knowledge and use of the cartoon and teaching materials to primary schools across Denmark as well as provide inspiration young people, parents, and teachers outside of Denmark through the English cartoon. Further, we hope to translate the cartoon and teaching materials into other languages and to develop materials for more age groups to be used in the educational system.
