Cancellations made between one and three months prior to the scheduled event date will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the agreed presentation fee. Cancellations made less than one month prior to the scheduled event date will incur the full presentation fee.
Postponements made between one and three months prior to the scheduled event date will incur a fee equivalent to 10% of the agreed presentation fee. Postponements made less than one month prior to the scheduled event date will incur a fee equivalent to 20% of the agreed presentation fee.
In all cases of cancellation or postponement, the Client is responsible for covering any travel, accommodation, or related expenses incurred by CIFS that cannot be refunded.
As part of CIFS’ sustainability policy and commitment to responsible business practices, CIFS reserves the right to offset the carbon emissions associated with travel to be undertaken under the agreement. Any such carbon offset costs may be invoiced as a separate line item and shall be reimbursed by the Client as part of the engagement.
The applicable carbon offset charge will typically range from EUR 17 to EUR 40 per traveller per trip, depending on the destination, travel distance, and scope of the related activities.
