Introduction
Cerelia is a junior advisor at the institute. Cerelia’s desire to work for companies with strong mission statements, such as CIFS, arose after her biochemistry studies, which emphasise our inherent connectedness with all life on Earth. It allowed her to decode nature’s language and thus understand its stories, why things are the way they are, and what could be different through advancing technology and research. Now, she wants to decode human stories to understand how and why things are the way they are and what could be different. Cerelia is passionate about biotechnology and understanding sustainable value creation to foster a healthier, more resilient, and equitable world. She enjoys exploring opportunities within the bioeconomy and healthcare as well as investigating how macro and micro trends emerge and influence societal evolution.

Cerelia enjoys being outdoors in nature and trying new things. She has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, gone skydiving and paragliding, and lived in primary rainforest in Malaysia for almost one month. She also loves going to the gym, cooking, reading, and writing in her spare time.
