Adela is passionate about interdisciplinary approach to research and practice.
Her main areas of interest include socio-cognitive psychology of decision making and attitudes, health behaviour change and mistrust in official medical information, social determinants of health, mental health and well-being.
Adela is especially passionate about addressing the unique health challenges faced by women, and gender bias in healthcare.

Adela has a strong foundation in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, with experience in academic settings and in healthcare system of a low- and middle-income country (LMIC). Her work spans roles as a health associate psychological counsellor, and research assistant in visual perception, social psychology, clinical psychology field research, and public health. Through her diverse experiences, she has developed a critical perspective on various health issues. As an advisor at the Institute, she is actively engaged in research design, development and analysis, international, and global projects aimed at improving healthcare access, availability of standardized, reliable health data and the integration of digital health solutions.
She enjoys hiking through which she was a part of an environmental NGO fighting against light pollution in Serbia. Adela is originally half Slovakian-half Hungarian, from Serbia… but lives in Sweden, while trying to speak all these languages.
