Karoline is a Junior Advisor, during a full-time Advisory Internship at the Institute. She is currently enrolled at a MSc in Development Studies, where she is majoring in Sociology.
Academically, Karoline especially has an interest in the socio-economic field, where she has explored aspects like social- commodification, acceleration and entrepreneurship. Further, she wrote her bachelor project on relational work and market exchanges to understand reciprocity and meanings attached to food aid, amongst asylum seekers, refugees and ethnic minorities.
During high school Karoline lived at studied with peers of more than 93 different nationalities. This was when she experienced any activity, even laundry, could be intriguing – never knowing who she would encounter by the machines and what fascinating conversations might emerge from that.
