Karoline is Advisor & Course Coordinator at the Institute. In her role, she primarily focuses on two main areas beyond project involvement: supporting partnerships and business development, and managing aspects of the Institute's course administration. So if you have any inquiries about our courses, chances are she will be your first point of contact.
Karoline’s educational background combines business and sociology with a focus on development studies, giving her a strong interdisciplinary perspective on social and economic dynamics. She has a particular interest in socio-economic themes, including how markets and social structures interact and shape everyday life.
In her free time, Karoline enjoys horseback riding in the nearby nature and adventurous deep dives in the sea - anything that allows her to explore her surroundings from a different angle. She also likes to re-read books in their original language to capture any details lost in translation, just as she enjoys giving second-hand things new life.
