Tallulah is a master’s student at Utrecht University in International Relations in a Historical Perspective. She previously studied History at University College London, where she developed a strong interest in how historical patterns, political narratives, and cognitive biases shape the way we understand both the present and the future. In her dissertation, she explored the biopolitical effects of Soviet pro-natalist messaging, specifically in how disinformation and political narratives affect citizens’ everyday lives, exploring how Soviet women internalised state messaging and enacted resistance. She wants to learn how strategic foresight and futures literacy as methods can anticipate uncertainty and support informed decision-making across sectors.
