About Dasha
Daria “Dasha” Krivonos is our CEO, an author, and one of Denmark’s most sought-after futurists. She is known for her ability to combine strong economic understanding with deep insight into the major shifts shaping our time. With a particular focus on megatrends, she makes complex issues accessible and relevant for businesses, organisations, and the wider public.
A journey from the Soviet Union to Denmark
Dasha was born and raised in the Soviet Union and moved to Denmark at the age of 12 in 1993. This background has given her a natural geopolitical curiosity and a unique perspective on the dynamics of international relations. She has personally experienced Russia both before and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, which adds a personal depth to her analyses of global power relations.
Career and experience
Dasha holds a degree in economics and has had an extensive career at the A.P. Møller–Maersk Group, where she worked with macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis as well as long-term forecasting. Her final role at Maersk was Head of Enterprise Risk Management, where she was responsible for managing strategic risks across the organisation.
She also contributed to the company’s work in international contexts, including participation in the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos.
In 2018, she joined CIFS, where she is now our CEO. There she has combined her professional expertise with strategic foresight - the ability to identify and interpret the trends shaping future societies and markets.
